Mailroom Timelines and Tips

Important daily time stamps:

  • 9:30 a.m. (times may vary) – Federal mail is delivered to residence halls
  • 8 a.m. – Campus mail is picked up from the mailroom and delivered to campus buildings
  • Noon – Federal mail is picked up from the mailroom by the United States Postal Service

We provide Federal mail and UPS services for campus departments with an active account. Personal mail is not handled unless it has already been stamped/postmarked. While we can inform you of the required postage amount, stamps must be purchased elsewhere (available at the Bookstore and Atwood Memorial Center).

Due to postal regulations, we cannot accept stamped packages over 13 ounces. These must be presented in person at the Post Office.
