Orientation Experiences

Whether you’re a new freshmen or transfer student, our required on-campus New Student Orientation is designed to help you transition to college life at St. Cloud State University. During orientation, you will gain a deeper understanding of available resources, explore campus, connect with your peers, pick up your student ID and have time to finalize course enrollment if needed. If you are unable to make it to campus for orientation, contact our office to determine an alternate plan.

Families, friends, and supporters are important partners in student success. Orientation will help you understand how to support your student, what services St. Cloud State provides, and how students and supporters can access help when questions arise. We encourage supporters to join the Husky Family Hub, an online community that shares important information for supporting your student, upcoming events and deadlines, and posts geared to your interests.
