History shapes who you are as a person, community and world. Understanding history will help you analyze the past and provide a broader perspective of the future.
As a History student, you will gain strong critical thinking skills allowing you to strategically solve a problem and form a solid argument.
History at St. Cloud State University aims to offset parochialism and ethnocentrism by offering courses dealing with as many as possible of the world's civilization, nations, and peoples.
Students can choose from a History B.A. or minor to enhance another SCSU major.
