The Reading Teacher K-12 graduate certificate program will prepare you to become a specialized teacher of reading K-12 in your district or improve your own classroom instruction. You will receive special instruction on effective instruction and assessment for K-12 students who are struggling in reading.

Program Highlights

  • Available at the North Branch satellite location and regional school districts by arrangement. A Monticello cohort is beginning fall 2017.
  • Can be completed in five semesters, including summer sessions.
  • Five course program — students take one course per semester.
  • Courses taken for the Reading K-12 Certification may be applied to a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction.
