St. Cloud State University offers modern esports facilities right on campus to accommodate a variety of esports interests and activities. From casual to competitive gaming, casting, events and more – we’ve got you covered!
The Huskies Esports Lounge @ Atwood is the primary gaming lounge available for students of all interest levels. It is located on the first floor of the Atwood Memorial Center. We encourage all Huskies to stop by for some esports fun, whether you like to play, watch others play or just want to connect with other students.
The Huskies Esports Lounge is equipped with high-end gaming equipment including HP® OMEN gaming computers and displays, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards. Games available on Lounge computers include:
Students can also bring their own gaming devices and games to play with others, or check out Switch games and equipment to use in the Huskies Esports Lounge through Atwood’s Information Desk using their Campus Card.

The Huskies Esports Arena is located at the far-east end of the lower level in Atwood. It offers PC gaming, customizable lighting, broadcasting booth and equipment, and more. This space can be used for individual and team gaming, esports classes, club meetings, tournaments, special events, summer camps and more!
The Huskies Esports Arena is equipped with industry-standard equipment that will give students experience with professional broadcast-quality video and real-world video production workflows for streaming. The equipment is operational for 4-7 students at a time to allow training for multiple positions including technical director, director, producer, camera operator, graphics operators, audio operators and engineers and includes:
Campus Recreation operates a second Esports Lounge in Halenbeck Hall focused on console gaming. The lounge features two large flat screen TVs, is Alexa music enabled and features LED lighting. The room is equipped with two PS5s and students are welcome to bring their own gaming systems to use for tournaments in the lounge.
