Diversity definition 

St. Cloud State University's diversity definition is based on the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (Minnesota State) definition of diversity which reads:

"Diversity includes, but is not limited to, age, ethnic origin, national origin, race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, religious beliefs, creeds, and income."

Diversity plan

In addition to following the Minnesota State definition of diversity plan, St. Cloud State University follows its 2017 Diversity Plan, which grew out of the initial 2012 Diversity Plan, in its effort to make the university more welcoming and inclusive for all students.
