CyberCorps

We support our students' efforts to be part of CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service, a program intended to strengthen the corps of federal cyber security professionals who work to protect the country's information infrastructure. The program's scholarships fund education costs of full-time undergraduate and graduate students through grants awarded by the National Science Foundation.

NSF

Since 2012, we have offered two-year scholarships to those with academic talent and financial need in the information systems, computer science and computer engineering programs through the NSF’s four-year S-STEM program. Preference is given to women, students of color and American Indians, first-generation college students and community college transfer students.

Math/Statistics partnership

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics jointly award annual scholarships to selected students from the 15 major or minor programs.

The scholarships range from $500 to $1,800, and we honor recipients at a spring Scholarship Awards Ceremony and Dinner. Scholarship recipients and amounts are determined based on several criteria, including grade point average.
