Transfer Student Information

All students planning to transfer to St. Cloud State University should follow the admission procedures located on the Admissions Office website.

Transferring Courses to SCSU

To transfer courses to St. Cloud State University, send your transcript(s) to the Office of Records and Registration. For other MinnState institutions, request an e-transcript.

Students will need their Star ID to complete a transfer request. If you do not yet have a Star ID, learn how to activate it now .

Once transcripts are evaluated, if you want transfer courses applied to a specific program, you must have them reviewed by the appropriate academic departments for equivalencies. Complete the transfer request for this process. Course syllabi are typically required for evaluation.
