Carrie Barth has been promoted from a part-time grant writer to the head of a large department that includes both grants and development. She has grown the portfolio of her department by over four times (now over $2 million) since starting with Berkshire County in Massachusetts in 2016. Her successes are countless but include securing a grant for a mobile health unit that provides thousands of COVID-19 vaccines and other health care to people who can't otherwise get to clinics for their needs.
