Sign up for a Transfer Advising & Registration Day

All new transfer students are required to complete an on-campus advising & registration day or complete the online version. This process will connect you with an academic advisor who can help you register for courses and learn how your courses have transferred into your major.

Apply for On-Campus Housing

Make the most of your transition to St. Cloud State University by living on campus where you will have access to a number of valuable resources. This will also give you an opportunity to get involved in our many student clubs & organizations and take part in our countless campus events.

Apply for Financial Aid

All students are encouraged to apply for federal and state financial aid, whether or not you think that you may be eligible. Financial aid includes grants, work study, scholarships and loans. To be considered for financial aid you must complete the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA). Remember to include St. Cloud State University’s school code (002377).

Want more information about the financial aid process? Make sure to check out our SCSU financial aid web site.

Attend Welcome Weekend Orientation

At the end of August your educational journey brings to you St. Cloud State University and we are here to help ease the transition. Welcome Weekend is an on-campus experience prior to the start of fall semester in which all new transfer students are invited to participate. The Welcome Weekend program will provide you the information you need to be successful in your first semester and get you acclimated to your new community at SCSU.
