The Global Studies Program seeks to be the university hub for global education, cross-national and international activities at St. Cloud State University.
The program is home to the major and minor programs in Global Studies. It also collaborates with the African Studies, East Asian Studies and Latin American Studies programs.
Global Studies also hopes to host lectures and seminars on global issues. Please click on the Events link for specific activities of the Center. It supports other activities that may be of global interest.
GLST 195: Global Society and Citizenship 3 credits Usually 4 sections are offered per semester, including one online. The class can fulfil LEP Goal Area 8 or 9. Passing this class with a C or better grade is required to be admitted to the Global Studies major or minor

Global Studies Director is Dr. Mikhail Blinnikov, Professor of Geography. His office is in the department of Geography and Planning in Stewart Hall room 344.
