Faculty and Administrative Positions (Unclassified Positions)
Maintenance, Clerical, Technical and Professional Positions (Classified Positions)
Classified positions are posted initially for internal bidding on campus. To be eligible to bid, an employee must have the same class designation as the vacancy and must currently have either a different shift, or a different work area, or a different employment condition.
When a position is not filled during the internal bidding process, it can then be opened to others and is posted on the MMB website. To apply or search for an open classified position visit www.careers.state.mn.us.
Graduate Assistantship Positions
As graduate assistantships become available, openings are posted to the website. Admitted graduate students are welcome to apply to any of the openings and are not limited to working in their academic department. Position announcements include the hiring unit, the length of the appointment, start and end dates of employment, description of duties, candidate qualifications, application information and deadline, and contact information. Positions are posted until filled.
On-Campus Student Employment
Student Employment Services is a student-run and student-funded SCSU organization created for the purpose of being a liaison between area employers and the SCSU student community. Both on- and off-campus job opportunities that are non Work Study related for undergraduate students are posted on our website and in our office. Student Employment Services is also responsible for coordinating two annual job fairs throughout the year, the Part-Time Job Fair in September and the Summer Job Fair in mid-March.
