Huskies are passionate about their school. From cheering for our men's and women's hockey teams at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center to attending the art and music events of the Lemonade Art Fair, we are always looking for ways to show our Husky pride in and out of the classroom.

Type of College: A four-year, public, residential, liberal arts and sciences university

Location: A 100-acre campus on the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, which is about an hour from Minneapolis and St. Paul

Population: St. Cloud, population 67,000, is the core city of a three-county, 190,000-person metropolitan area

Academic Portfolio: Undergraduate majors, minors and pre-professional program and graduate programs including an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration

Calendar: Two 15-week semesters and a summer session

Residential Life: Six residential communities, including the renovated historic Shoemaker Hall

Activities: Nearly 250 clubs and organizations

Athletics: Five men’s teams and 10 women’s teams compete at the NCAA Division II level; Women’s and men’s hockey teams compete at the Division I level; club sports include rugby, crew, hockey and volleyball

Recreation: Offerings include fitness, aquatics, intramurals, rock climbing and outdoor activities; facilities include a pool, gymnasium, 200-meter track, challenge course, turf field, two ice sheets, bowling alley, dance studio, ball diamonds and a student recreation center

Financial Aid: Students receive more than $107 million in scholarships, grants, loans and student work opportunities each year
