Classified (Temporary)

  1. Request to Hire Form is submitted for approval by supervisor, Dean, and VP
  2. Upon approval HR will seek candidates for the department to interview
  3. Upon Department interview and selection; department will consult with HR in regard to salary; a start date will be established. Include an interview question that asks if candidate will be eligible to work in USA. If an applicant is not a US citizen or U.S. permanent resident, include Human Resources in the interview schedule (15 minutes). Call 308-3203 to arrange.
  4. Temporary employee will report to HR on the first day of work to complete new hire paperwork and orientation.
