The demand for early childhood educators is expected to grow as the importance of early childhood education continues to be emphasized.
Students in the early education major will learn to work in various early childhood settings and Kindergarten through third grade classrooms. Students will learn about child development and methods for engaging in early childhood learning.
Our students gain valuable hands-on experience through a number of field experiences developing skills in designing lesson plans, tutoring, and assessing young children. Students will develop skills and competencies needed for working with parents, families, and community agencies.
