Undergraduate Program
The Academic and Behavioral Specialist teacher preparation program prepares individuals to teach learners who have special needs that affect their ability to learn. Teacher candidates learn to implement research- and evidence-based practices when teaching students with mild-moderate disabilities in the areas of autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, and other health impairments.
