Effective January 2013, SCSU Student Health Services medical providers will not provide students with excuses for short-term absences from class or missed deadlines due to illness, injury, or mental health issues. 

S.C.S.U. Student Health Services is now able to provide text message appointment reminders.  Effective July 2, 2012 students can choose to have a message texted to their cell phone to remind them of an upcoming appointment. Text message appointment reminders are given two hours before the scheduled appointment time.
