The FIRE Dept. is home to three different majors; Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate. They are each 33 credit majors and in order to declare one of them a student must first be well on their way to completing the pre-business core courses. They should already be working with the pre-business advising in the Undergraduate Programs Office in the Herberger College of Business.

NEWS:

The Husky Fund manages a $100,000 fund on behalf of the SCSU Foundation. The student managers are selected based on academic performance and knowledge of financial markets. If a student would like to participate in the Husky Fund they should talk to Professor Bohnen in the FIRE Dept.
