Announcement
Position Open: Counselor/Assistant Professor (fixed term 2008-09)
Welcome to Counseling & Psychological Services
Sometimes life can hit you with unexpected problems, sometimes you may feel like you’ve tried everything and then some to fix your problems. If so, you may want to speak with a counselor about what’s going on in your life. Likely outcomes of doing so could include:
- A clearer sense of what the problem is and what you can do about it.
- A renewed sense of self confidence in your own strengths and how you might use them to resolve the current problem.
- A stronger sense of self acceptance in view of situations that you may not have the control to change.
We've designed our website to provide you with an overview of our services as well as to provide you with resources that you may use at your convenience. These resources might be sufficient to address your needs or you may decide upon reading them, that you have more questions or want additional assistance. If so, we are here to serve you.
The resources available on our website include a range of information on the mental health topics we work with most frequently. You will find general information about those topics through the Virtual Pamphlet Collection in the right hand menu. On the left hand menu, you may find more specific information about how CAPS works with those issues.
