It’s On Us SCSU

What We Do

Sexual violence in its many forms, such as assault, harassment, dating violence, and stalking are serious problems that continue to affect all genders year after year.  We are bringing awareness to our campus in hopes to educate students to recognize that non-consensual sex is sexual assault, to identify situations where sexual assault may occur, and to intervene by stepping in and standing up in situations where consent has not or cannot been given.  Overall, achieving more awareness and education about these issues is meant to create an environment in which sexual violence is unacceptable and survivors are supported.

Together we can create a better environment in our campus community as well as in the larger society where we all have the knowledge and courage to stand up and speak out against violence.

More information, visit the It's On Us website.

The purpose of It’s On Us SCSU shall be to provide an organization for people of all identities to work together to educate and prevent sexual violence through speakers, special events, and raise awareness among the campus community through direct actions and activism.
