St. Cloud State takes second in Sales Management Case Competition

Noah PearsonBryana LommelSt. Cloud State University took second in the Sales Management Case Competition at the International Collegiate Sales Competition’s Collegiate World Cup of Sales Nov. 11-14 hosted virtually by Florida State University.

The St. Cloud State team defeated teams from around the world en route to the final round. The International Collegiate Sales Competition designed the case on the COVID-19 pandemic impact on sales management. The St. Cloud State team put together a creative and realistic sales management proposal and effectively presented it to the panel.

Team members included:

  • Bryana Lommel, a Management major, Marketing minor and Professional Selling Specialization student. Lommel is also president of the Husky AMA, the St. Cloud State chapter of the American Marketing Association.
  • Noah Pearson, Marketing major, Information Systems minor and Professional Selling Specialization student. Pearson is the vice president of fundraising for Husky AMA.

Both team members earned $500 for their second place finish.

Professor David Titus coached the role-play team.

The Collegiate World Cup of Sales is the ultimate measure of a university’s sales program’s focus on overall business revenue generating skills.
