Carol has a B.F.A. from SUNY Fredonia and an M.F.A. from Ohio University.
In costume technology, Carol’s work has appeared on the stages of South Coast Repertory Theatre, The Long Wharf Theatre, The Guthrie Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre, The McCarter Theatre, The Metropolitan Opera and in a number of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
She is a puppeteer and has designed and created puppets for The Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, and the New York State Theatre Institute. Carol frequently designs and directs at SCSU.
The United States Marine Corps trained her in print and broadcast journalism. She volunteers at St. Cloud State's campus station, KVSC/88.1-FM.
