Suspensions lasting more than ten days or expulsion from the University will be listed on the student’s official academic transcript. Notations of suspension will be removed from the transcript once the time of suspension has expired.
Student conduct records are retained for seven years unless the University is aware of, or anticipates any legal action, audit, investigation, or review regarding a specific record. However, expulsion records will be retained indefinitely.
After a period of five years, the student may make a request in writing to the Vice President for the Division of Student Affairs that the notation of expulsion be removed from the transcript. Decisions will be made based on the circumstances surrounding the request and the Student Code of Conduct violations.
