Each prospective County has different Human Services Programs. Please call your county directly to learn about what programs you qualify for. One thing to note is that often child care assistance is separate from other forms of financial support, so be sure to ask about this directly:

Catholic Charities Emergency Services

Emergency Programs include: food shelf, back to school program, clothing program, financial assistance, good Samaritan fund, holiday toys, share the spirit program, and Walk-in counseling.


The Salvation Army

Programs Include: Food shelf & free bread program, weekday lunch program, emergency assistance, utility assistance, emergency shelter, homeless veterans program, disaster relief services, men/women/youth ministries, backpacks and school supplies, warm coat program, tax preparation, Christmas toy program.



Programs Include: Energy Programs, Housing Programs, Home Ownership, Self-Sufficiency/Counseling Services, & Transportation.
