Centers and Support Offices

  • Center for Co-Teaching & Educational Engagement
    The Center for Co-Teaching & Educational Engagement works to spearhead critical change in education by providing innovative programming based on identified needs that are aligned with professional and culturally-responsive education and leadership in B-12. A leader in providing co-teaching resources and training opportunities, the Center also provides support for St. Cloud Teacher Education graduates in their first three years of teaching. This support is provided through New Teacher Workshops, instructional coaching and professional development resources.

    • Office of Clinical Experiences (OCE)
      The Office of Clinical Experiences partners with area school districts to secure quality field experience and student teaching placements for teacher candidates in the School of Education, in preparation for their roles as future educators. OCE is responsible for providing approximately 850 teacher candidates per semester with over 1,000 field and student teaching placements, in partnership with area school districts.

    • guaranTEACH
      SCSU guaranTEACH is our Husky commitment to School of Education graduation to provide support and resources through their first three years teaching. Alumni may join a small group, attend webinars, and access resources to support transitions from college to their career in education.

  • Minnesota Teacher Licensure Exams (MTLE) Center
    The MTLE Center supports St. Cloud State students and alumni preparing for teacher licensure exams. Services include exam registration help, access to study materials and online resources, workshops, and accommodation request support.

  • School of Education Advising and Student Success Center
    The Advising and Student Success Center supports undergraduate education students by providing professional academic advising, clarification of academic policy and procedures, and referral to university resources.
