This open house is your all-access pass to explore St. Cloud State University, whether you're just starting your college search or ready to apply. Tour campus, connect with academic programs, meet future classmates, and snag exclusive swag—including a free t-shirt and Huskies Athletics tickets for prospective students!

Sign up for one of our three days—October 16, 17, or 18. It’s your day, your future, and your chance to see what it means to be a Husky. Friends and family are always welcome.

Our Open House is designed with flexible arrival times every 15–30 minutes, giving guests the chance to explore campus comfortably and avoid large crowds.

SCSU Athletics Ticket Voucher

Four free tickets for you - Go Huskies!

Each prospective Husky who attends Discover Red & Black will receive up to four ticket vouchers for SCSU Athletics home games Oct. 16-18 (while supplies last). Ticket vouchers can be picked up at the Resource Fair on the day of the event.

Directions and Parking

The Discover Red & Black open house is located in the Atwood Memorial Center on the campus of St. Cloud State University.

When you arrive on campus, look for the signs pointing you to parking and check-in.

Parking

Parking details will be sent in your confirmation email. Guests are encouraged to park in the 4th Avenue Parking Ramp. Bring your ticket to our check-in table to be validated.

Open House FAQs

What should I bring?

Bring your questions and curiosity about SCSU and college. We also encourage you to bring family members. Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes fit for a campus tour.

Where do I go?

When you arrive at our St. Cloud campus, find your way to the Atwood Memorial Center. There you will find signs and SCSU students and staff helping your find your way to the check-in table.

How long is the open house?

Your Discover Red & Black experience will last approximately two hours. The open house spans three days in October, but you only need to come one of those days.

Will I be able to eat on campus?

Each registered attendee and their guests will each receive a complimentary meal ticket for Garvey Commons. Additionally, Chick-fil-A and Red & Black Coffee Co. in Atwood Memorial Center will be open for service. See what's on the menu today!

I can't come October 16-18. Is there another option?

Our Admissions team offers daily campus visits as well as some on Saturdays. You won't get to meet everyone that will be at Discover Red & Black, but we think you'll still like what we've got to show you.

Is there anything else going on around campus that weekend?

Yes! Our Women's Volleyball and Division I Men's and Women's Hockey teams all have games on campus that weekend. Check out the schedule
