Planetarium shows are an immersive experience, with loud sounds and in a very dark environment. Shows may not be suitable for young children. For your safety, once you have exited the planetarium, you may not re-enter until the show is complete.

Empty planetarium auditorium with starball projector in middleRachel Humphrey is the director of the SCSU Planetarium and assistant professor in the Department of Atmospheric and Earth Sciences. Professor Humphrey brings nearly two decades of science teaching experience to the Planetarium and, when not teaching, regularly hosts K-12 and public outreach events on and off campus.
