Members of the general public with disabilities who require accommodations to attend a public event on campus should complete the Members of the Public Request for Access to Public Event form below at least 10 business days prior to the event when practicable. Complaints should be in writing whenever possible and contain information such as name, phone number or email address of complainant and location, date, and description of the problem. Complaints should be submitted no later than 30 days following the event. A representative from Facilities Management will respond with the position of St. Cloud State University and offer options for substantive resolution.
A member of the public who feels that Facilities Management has not responded satisfactorily to their complaint about disability accommodations may appeal in writing to:

This appeal must be submitted within 15 business days of the response from Facilities Management. The Office for Institutional Equity & Access shall respond to the appeal in writing, and, where appropriate, in a format accessible to the complainant, with a final resolution of the complaint.
Accommodation request forms and complaint files shall be maintained by Facilities Management and appeal files shall be maintained by Office for Institutional Equity & Access according to their respective retention schedules.
