Americans with Disabilities Act - Reasonable Accommodations

Members of the Public

St. Cloud State University will provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Minnesota Human Rights Act (MHRA) and Minnesota State Board Policy 1B.4. We will actively work with members of the public to provide feasible options for accessibility to campus events open to the public.

Members of the general public with disabilities who require accommodations to attend a public event on campus should complete the Members of the Public Request for Access to Public Event form below at least 10 business days prior to the event when practicable. The online form is preferred. If in the rare circumstance a disability prevents or makes it difficult to use the online form, members of the public may:

  • Print, complete and submit the alternative version of this form via email or hard copy:
  • Or Call Facilities Management at 320-308-3166 or Equity and Access at 320-308-5123

Facilities Management will review the request to determine whether we are able to make the accommodation, coordinate with other departments as needed to arrange the accommodation, and provide the requestor with details of the accommodation arrangement.

All questions or concerns from members of the public about disability accommodations or this policy & procedure should be directed to Facilities Management at facilitiesmgmt@stcloudstate.edu or 320-308-3166.
