RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a file format used to distribute Web content. Subscribe to RSS feeds to receive news headlines, information updates and more from St. Cloud State.
Use a news reader, browser, e-mail client or portal page to subscribe to, and manage, RSS feeds:
The Microsoft Outlook e-mail client can read and manage feeds. Browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Firefox can display RSS feeds. My Yahoo and personal Google pages are RSS-savvy. These and other web sites list tools for reading and managing RSS feeds:
Copy and paste the URL of any feed into your reader’s Subscribe field or dialog box.
These RSS feeds are offered solely for personal noncommercial use. They may be used in noncommercial Web sites or blogs. However, they may not be edited, altered or sold. Feeds must not be displayed in any way that suggests St. Cloud State University endorses anything on the Web site or blog other than the our content. St. Cloud State reserves the right to terminate its RSS feeds at any time. St. Cloud State may require a Web site owner or blog owner to cease publishing an RSS feed if use of that content is deemed inappropriate.
