The ensemble examines musical styles including Funk/Rock, Latin, Hip Hop, and Jazz, and the students work collaboratively to craft arrangements for their performances.

The Jazz Ensemble is a member of the Music Department's Collaborative Chamber Ensemble, and works alongside students and directors from the University Orchestra and the Percussion Ensemble in a creative and engaging musical environment. There is no audition to join.
