Student Organizations

Physical Education Club

The Physical Education Club is a St. Cloud State student organization for students who intend to major in Physical Education. This club is lobbying at the local and state levels to promote the understanding and expansion of strong physical education programs throughout the state. Members participate in professional conferences at the state and national level and become involved with volunteerism at multitude of venues to increase their exposure to the professional community.

Student Athletic Trainers Association

The Student Athletic Trainers Association (SATA) seeks to provide opportunities for students outside of the classroom and clinical experience settings. SATA organizes volunteer opportunities, social activities and guest speakers.

Sports Management Club

The Sports Management Club gives graduate and undergraduate students the chance to gain experience in the area of sports management by attending conferences, actively engaging in fundraising activities, and putting on events at the University and in the surrounding St. Cloud community.

Student Health Action and Advisory Committee (SHAAC)

Our students are involved with SHAAC, an organization that helps assist Student Health Services (SHS) in responding to student and campus needs. SHAAC members provide educational outreach to the campus and community.

Jobs and Internships

Community Health Internship

This internship is the capstone experience in the Community Health Program. Students practice the theories, knowledge, research and skills learned in the academic environment. Students perform a variety of duties in a real work environment.

Recreation/Sports Management Internship

The internship requires REC 444, a 12-credit class. This is a required course for recreation administration majors. Students report to the agency director and work under agency supervision for a minimum of 15 consecutive weeks.
