Ignite Center

Future Teachers
These seminars allow students opportunities to network, collaborate and explore educational topics with faculty, staff and P-12 teachers. They are offered at no cost to Education majors.
The sessions help you:
- Build teacher leadership skills.
- Develop professional identity.
- Network with current and future educators.
- Enhance your resume with professional learning.
- Gain knowledge you can put to use right away.
Each session begins with some organized networking, which is followed by a presentation of shared information. Small-group discussions wrap up the evening.
Stick with us
It is our goal that you find employment in a school district that offers comprehensive support for first- through third-year teachers. To complement the support you receive in your school district, St. Cloud State University offers new teacher workshops and opportunities to network, engage in professional development throughout the year and access to online resources.
