Lisa Wipperman-Heine is global vice president of clinical affairs for Covidien’s Vascular Therapies Business Unit.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry including leadership roles in clinical research, health policy, reimbursement and regulatory affairs.
Her responsibilities have included the design and conduct of pre-clinical, clinical and outcomes research in support of regulatory approvals and product reimbursement. In addition, she has led global clinical and regulatory strategy development and implementation. She has extensive experience working with FDA and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In addition, she has co-authored peer-reviewed literature involving outcomes research and health economics.
