Kathy M. Lundberg

Kathy Lundberg has worked in the medical technology industry for more than 25 years, starting her career as a biostatistician in clinical trials at CPI, part of Eli Lilly’s Medical Device and Diagnostics division.

From there she has held roles in a number of functional areas: supervisor of information systems, manager of human resources, compensation and employee development, manager of manufacturing operations, director of regulatory affairs and clinical trials.

She moved into an executive role as vice president of human resources for Guidant’s CRM division and then became senior vice president of human resources for Guidant.

 In 2001 she became senior vice president and chief compliance officer for Guidant Corporation, Corporation and a member of Guidant’s management committee and remained CCO when Guidant was acquired by Boston Scientific.

Lundberg retired from Boston Scientific in 2009 and is president of KMLundberg consulting and doing consulting work in regulatory affairs, clinical trials and compliance for United States and international medical technology companies. She is a faculty member of St. Cloud State and also teaches in the Regulatory Affairs and Services program.

She is on the board of the USTA Northern section and is on the executive committee of the board. She also is on the advisory board for Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and has been on the advisory board for the local chapter of the American Heart Association.
