Matching Gifts

You may be eligible to increase your gift if you or your spouse or partner is affiliated with a company that has a matching gift program.  Matching gifts are donations made to the St. Cloud State University Foundation by participating companies based on the amount of your gift and the company’s matching gift policy.  

There are more than 8,000 companies that match employee or affiliate contributions.  These companies may also match gifts for retired employees, spouses, and directors.

To make a matching gift, first make a gift to the St. Cloud State University Foundation, followed either by:

1. Obtain a matching gift form from your human resources/ personnel department:
   1. Complete the employee section and sign the form.
   2. Mail the complete form to:
      St. Cloud State University Foundation
      Attn: Gift Processing
      720 4th Ave. S.
      St. Cloud, MN 56301
   3. The Foundation section of the form is completed and mailed back to your company.
   4. The match is made by the company.
