You are at a place in your career where you are ready to lead. Get ready for a program that will take you to the next step in your career.

Our Doctor of Nursing Practice program will be focused on the Family Nurse Practitioner role. The DNP program will be the first of its kind offering in Central Minnesota, through a unique academic and clinical partnership that will be unveiled over the next few weeks. Thank you for your interest in our program as we work toward launching in 2021-2022.

  • All Clinicals will be facilitated throughout the St. Cloud and Central Minnesota Region
  • Small cohort size
  • Access to dedicated nurse faculty; state-of-the art laboratory equipment and technology
  • Personalized academic and clinical support through an appointed SCSU Nurse Faculty liaison
  • Comprehensive curriculum design, with approximately 900 precepted clinical hours
  • Emphasis on care delivery in rural and underserved patient populations
  • Prioritized program application for CentraCare Health employees

"Nurse practitioners fill an important need in the healthcare system today and into the future, the need will become even greater. I am thankful we can offer a collaborative program through SCSU and the U of M in Central Minnesota."
