Your first days on campus are the perfect time to meet people and get to know campus.

We know how important the first days and weeks of the semester are to students and their success.

We encourage all new students to continue their participation in events to meet other students, learn more about St. Cloud State and find your way to connect with the Huskies community.

Saturday, Jan. 6

Saturday Activities

Orientation Leaders will be available Saturday from 12 pm - 5 pm to help you:

  • Meet other new students
  • Tour campus & find your classrooms
  • Explore the Husky Bookstore & purchase your materials
  • Help you load your email to your smart phone & get your SCSU Campus ID Card

Stop into Atwood Memorial Center at the first floor lounge for details & assistance.  

Orientation Social

Looking for something to do on Saturday night?

Join us to cheer on the Huskies!

Orientation staff will be available in Atwood Memorial Center Saturday afternoon from Noon-6 p.m. to answer questions, get you registered for Sundays Orientation and to give you a FREE concessions coupon before the game! (Good for free pop, large popcorn & Husky Dog or Pretzel with cheese - only for new St. Cloud State students).

Student Orientation leaders will be in Atwood before game time to do introductions and walk you to the events. Stop by anytime to ask questions. We encourage you to wear your Husky gear.

Spring Orientation Program

To help with your transition to St. Cloud State, we'd like to invite you to participate in our Spring Orientation program. All new students (first year, transfers and adult learners) are encouraged to attend.

Free Parking is available for new students in Lots AA and C during orientation on Sunday.

10:30  a.m. Check-in begins  Atwood, Main Lounge
11 a.m. Welcome and SCSU 101 presentation
Noon Lunch buffet and Campus Resource Fair
1-4 p.m. Open Sessions
  • Meet with an academic adviser:
  • Business Majors: Meet in Centennial Hall 229
  • Other Majors: Meet in Centennial Hall 366
  • Community through Diversity workshop (required of all new St. Cloud State students
  • Tours to find classrooms, explore campus, get ID cards and parking passes with the help of student tour guides & Orientation Leaders

Sunday, Jan. 7 - Non-Traditional students

Special Programming: We ask our Non-Traditional students (those 25 years or older, those with children/dependents, married students, or veteran/military students) to attend the morning sessions at 9:30 a.m. and then join the main program at 11 a.m.
