Mission

We engage students, faculty and the broader community on issues concerning racial, ethnic and gender identities.

Students learn how activism for social justice contributes to the elimination of oppression. Student acquire tools that empower themselves and their communities.

Methodology

Our multidisciplinary programs focus on the overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination and disadvantage in race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, indigeneity, class and nation. 

Students learn to analyze race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, indigeneity, class and nation in these contexts:
