Teaching and Learning

A number of College of Liberal Arts and University programs encourage professional development, offering resources for faculty to build their teaching skills, develop research and find ways to boost student learning and achievement. Here are some of the resources available:

• We cultivate professional growth and development as part of Faculty Learning Communities that focus on a Common Reading program, Instructional Strategies for Flipping the Classroom, assessment of anti-racist pedagogy, and fostering greater student engagement and learning.
• Our Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning promotes learning and exploration across disciplines of teaching, scholarship, technology and leadership. It offers resources and peer support for high impact practices that benefit the spectrum of learners.
