Jim Knutson-Kolodzne (Ottawa)

Director

Jim is responsible for the direction and management of the AIC. Together with the AIC staff, in addition to providing programs and services, they work on initiatives to increase recruitment, retention, and the development of new methods of access and success for American Indian students. Jim is completing his doctoral degree from St. Cloud State University in Higher Education Leadership. He is an enrolled member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, Manistee, MI.

Tonya Miller graduated from Bemidji State University in 2002. She is married and has two children in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District. She has been involved in many roles in the K-12 school system and is excited to assist students in their higher education studies at the American Indian Center at St. Cloud State University. In her downtime she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.

Randy Octuck

Graduate Assistant

Randy Octuck graduated from the University of Washington in 2013 with a degree in psychology. He came to St. Cloud State University in the fall of 2017 and is pursuing a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Randy feels very fortunate to be given the opportunity to work for the AIC and is excited to assist his fellow American Indian students while learning more about different Native American cultures.
