Northern Plains Winter Storm Conference

The annual Northern Plains Winter Storm Conference, run by the AHS department, is a great opportunity for our students to network while learning about the latest work in the field of meteorology. The day of programs and seminars brings together meteorologists, students and weather enthusiasts.

The conference is a chance for people in different areas of meteorology to get together and share new findings, techniques and understanding of winter storms.

Previous topics discussed at the conference include: effects of climate change, snow crystals, cloud observations, lake effect snow forecasting and more.

If you have any questions or concerns about the conference, please contact us.
