Three SCSU Supported Service Scholarships:

2009-2010 Rich Murray Volunteer Service Scholarship

Rich Murray Volunteer ScholarshipThe Rich Murray Volunteer Service Scholarship recognizes a St. Cloud State University student who has demonstrated a commitment of giving through volunteerism while a student at St. Cloud State University. 2. The value of giving back a little of what has been given to him
  3. The belief that everyone will need the help of others at some time

The Soroko-Ditlevson Service Scholarship recognizes a St. Cloud State University student who has demonstrated significant involvement in campus and/or community service.

This $500 scholarship is made possible by a generous gift from Mary Soroko and Andy Ditlevson. The donors have funded this service scholarship because they both experienced the transformational power of higher education. Prior to earning their degrees, each of them had very limited life choices. Both donors were first generation college students.

Preference for this scholarship will be given to students who are the first in their families to attend college.  They should be full-time students who have declared a Business, Communication Studies or Mass Communication Major.

All applicants will be notified of their status in March. If you have questions, please contact Volunteer Connection at 308-3004 or email volunteer@stcloudstate.edu
