The program pairs residents with international students in a friendship for the academic year. Students who participate don't live with their local hosts, and hosts don't assume any financial responsibility for their student. Hosts, who act as friends, can invite their students to meals, family outings, holiday celebrations, community events, or Friendship Program activities throughout the year.
