Purpose of the veterans listserv: "veterans-list" is an on-line e-mail based network designed to serve as a resource for SCSU students who are Veterans/Reservists/National Guard members, to share their experiences or thoughts, ask questions, and find resources on campus. Family members are also allowed to subscribe to the list. In addition SCSU Faculty and staff who are interested in being a resource to veterans may subscribe to the list.

Tax credit for Minnesotans deployed overseas in a combat zone: To qualify you must have 1) Served in a combat zone or qualified hazardous duty area from Sept 11, 2001, through Dec 31, 2006 and 2) The pay you received qualifies to be excluded as combat pay from federal gross income under Internal Revenue Code Section 112; and 3) Your home of record during your months of service was Minnesota. The credit is equal to $59 for each month of service. Partial months are counted as full months.
