Executive BoardThe Executive Board consists of the President, both Internal and External Vice Presidents of Public Relations, and the Vice President of Administration. These students are responsible for providing organizational and developmental support to all coordinators and committee members of UPB. PresidentThe UPB President serves as the primary spokesperson for the organization. He acts as a liaison between UPB and other organizations and departments on campus. Primary duties include: presiding over all Board, Executive Board, and Executive Committee meetings; serving as the chief constitutional officer; assisting with the UPB budget process along with the UPB director. Vice President of Internal Public RelationsThe V.P. of Internal Public Relations is responsible for the overall public relations of UPB on SCSU’s campus and will serve as the President in the President’s absence. This person is responsible for working closely with advertising agents to provide promotional items for UPB, such as pens and other giveaway items. The V.P. of Internal Public Relations will assist the Assistant Director in negotiating UPB’s advertisements with the University Chronicle. The V.P. of Internal Public Relations is responsible for the design and maintenance of all UPB bulletin boards in the residence halls, Atwood Center, the UPB office and Garvey Commons. The V.P. of Internal Public Relations co-coordinates the Public Relations committee with the V.P. of External Public Relations. The V.P. of External Public Relations and the V.P. of Internal Public Relations work closely with one another to divide other public relation needs that ensure predominant promotion of UPB and its events. Mondays: 4-5p.m. Vice President of External Public RelationsThe V.P. of External Public Relations is responsible for the overall public relations of UPB for the greater SCSU, and St. Cloud community and will serve as the President in the President’s and V.P. of Internal Public Relations absence. Co-Sponsorship opportunities within the community are sought after, and distributed by, the V.P. of External Public Relations. The V.P. of External Public Relations is also responsible for the promotion, and maintenance of the UPB website. The V.P. of External Public Relations co-coordinates the Public Relations committee with the V.P. of Internal Public Relations. The V.P. of External Public Relations and the V.P. of Internal Public Relations work closely with one another to divide other public relation needs that ensure predominant promotion of UPB and its events. Mondays: 2-3; 4-5p.m Vice President of AdministrationThe UPB Vice President of Administration is responsible for maintaining minutes of all organizational meetings and coordinates the annual UPB officer selection process. The VP/Admin is also responsible for informing the Executive Board/Committee about executive expenditures and budget balance. The VP/Admin serves as president in the absence of both the president and vice president of public relations. |
