The Visual Arts Committee schedules and installs exhibits for the Atwood Memorial Center Gallery and Ballroom Display Cases. The committee also curates these regional and national exhibits while on display.

Jessica Hasslen

Photographer, Jessica Hasslen, will display her photography in the Atwood Gallery starting April 1, 2008 - May 15, 2008. There will be an opening artist reception held on April 1, 2008 from noon-2 p.m. in the Atwood Gallery. Hasslen's exhibit will include approximately 100 photographs that tell the story of the Nyaoga village of Kenya. Her photos, alongside the surveys she has conducted during her traveling in Kenya, depict the impace of poverty, AIDS, and water struggles on the lives of the people in the village.
