View Past UPB Events!Responsible for programming the late night, weekend program, "Atwood After Dark." Responsible for programming a variety of nationally known acts. Responsible for scheduling weekly film series shown for free in the Atwood Theatre. Responsible for programming events showcasing student talent and a wide variety of genres and performers. Responsible for planning and coordinating the annual day long, spring festival with a variety of music, food, crafts and other social activities. Also responsible for "Battle of the Unsigned Bands" contest. Responsible for programming a diverse schedule of nationally and internationally recognized speakers. Responsible for programming a variety of dance, theatre, music, and spoken word events with the goal of providing educational, diverse, and entertaining performances. This committee aims to actively and creatively promote all UPB events through information kiosks, posters, display cases and many other methods. Responsible for programming a diverse schedule of activities and events including SCSU Homecoming Week and SCSU Family Weekend. Responsible for curating art exhibits in the Atwood Art Gallery and the Atwood Ballroom Display Cases. The Executive Board is comprised of the President and three Vice Presidents responsible for the overall function of the organization. UPB plans several events and activities for SCSU students during the summer months. The Lemonade Concert and Art Fair is a large-scale annual event that happens in June. |
