Official Colors

Cardinal Red and Black

St. Cloud State University's official colors are cardinal red and black. Consistent use of the standard red will reinforce the impact of graphic images that represent the university. The official red is known by printers as PMS 200. Because the hue changes depending on the type, ink, color or surface of the paper or in electronic venues, a range of official PMS colors has been approved: PMS 198 through PMS 202. Liberal use of St. Cloud State red on printed materials, clothing and other items is encouraged.
