NeXT

The Network for Excellence in Teaching (NExT) is a partnership of 14 teacher preparation programs and the Bush Foundation focusing on recruiting students, preparing them well, placing them in schools, and supporting them once they get there. The teachers who enter classrooms with NExT training and support behind them will have the skills and training necessary to succeed in the classroom and to spark their students’ interests in and excitement about learning. The NExT initiative is the largest single commitment in the Bush Foundation history.

The Teacher Preparation Initiative will strengthen St. Cloud State University's teacher preparation programs through a strong, active partnership with Arts and Science faculty, Education faculty and P-12 school districts.
