School of Education

Partner Districts - Holdingford

Holdingford claims to be the Gateway to Lake Wobegon, "Where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average." The town is known for their Lake Wobegon trail, which is located in the picture. The first school was built in 1872 and the first teacher was Standford A. Blood. Currently, Holdingford has two schools consisting of 1,033 students.

Holdingfod School Distict, Eric Williams

Superintendent Eric Williams graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science. He then earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum from the College of St.Scholastica and his Sixth Year and Superintendent Certificate from St. Cloud State University. After teaching social studies and physical education atPlacerita Junior High School in Santa Clarita, CA and social studies in Sartell, he became Dean of Students at Henry Sibley Senior High, Assistant Principal at Maple Grove Senior Highand Principal at Rockford Senior High School. He continued his administrative career becomingPrincipal at South Middle School. He is currently serving as Superintendent for theHoldingford School District.
